Alpine Artwalk
November 18 and 19th were this years date for Alpine’s Artwalk. This is a annual event that attracts thousands to town. Lots of art, a parade, live music, and more. We went with our friends from Marathon and had a great time. More about Artwalk HERE.
We now understand why so many people come to Alpine for Artwalk every year. It was great and had something for everyone.
Fall Colors in the Big Bend Area
First Freeze
We woke up to warm weather today with gusty winds. Friday night is forecast to a low around 32 degrees. So we might have our first freeze. We just had our motorhome hooked up to an external propane tank so we will have plenty of fuel for heating. Winter is not far off.
Alpine Sites
It’s been pretty rainy the last few days so when it cleared up for a couple of hours today I was off to find some photo subjects.
Well enough walking today, so let’s drive out South of town towards the big hill.
It started to cloud up some more and was raining about 15 minutes after I got back.
Grilling Time
We picked up some T-bones on sale with some tasty pork chops.
Natural Pest Control
We usually take a walk every evening before dark around the park. We had seen this owl before, but never got a picture. Just had my phone so not the best.
